It was an awesome way to transition from high school to college. It gave me a few days to get my feet wet in the social life of college while still feeling I had some support and structure. I felt like I already knew enough to be comfortable by the time everyone else showed up.

The first day of class I walked onto the drill field around 7:45am. I was so in awe at my new school that I stopped and said to myself (out loud) "Yea. I can do 4 years here. No problem."
It's cheesy, but it's true: the family atmosphere is overwhelming. To be specific, I love smiles at strangers, and people do that A LOT here. Those are the best kind of people.
