How has New Maroon Camp impacted you? :

Growing up in Starkville, I thought I knew anything and everything I should already know about Mississippi State before beginning my first semester. I could not have been more wrong. New Maroon Camp was able to better prepare myself for classes, work, and getting involved. Without NMC I would not be where I am today on this beautiful campus.

Favorite Song/Artist:

"Juju on That Beat"

Favorite Food:

Steak

When asked about a “Dream Date”:

Layton said, "I hate going shopping, unless it is the pet store or thrift shops. My ideal date would be to go out to eat, (wherever she wants,of course) then we hit up all the thrift the stores and pet shops in the Golden Triangle (Starkville-Columbus-West Point)."

Favorite MSU Memory:

My favorite MSU memory was beating Auburn in 2014 to become the number one team in the country. It was amazing to see the 60,000+ people sit in the rain the entire game to cheer on our fellow bulldogs.

Favorite thing about Mississippi State:

My favorite thing at Mississippi State is the people. It's incredible how you can walk into the Union and be able to sit down at any table and strike a conversation with someone completely random.
