The greatest piece of advice I can give any incoming freshman would be to GO TO NEW MAROON CAMP! But you are probably already registered since you're reading this, so instead I would also say to never miss out on an opportunity to meet someone new! Don't turn down an event or organization you are interested in just because you don't have any friends there or are scared to be alone at an interest meeting. Some of my best friends have come through random organizations I originally went to solo!
Every month, every week, and every day has its own wonderful memory. But, I would have to say one of my favorites involves any of the heart-to-heart conversations I've had with my new friends at Mississippi State. Yes, any spontaneous or crazy adventure is super fun and memorable, but I have especially loved the time I've gotten to spend with "my people" from Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi ;) Every long talk with a Mississippi sunset is a memory of its own!
