Advice for Freshmen:

Mississippi State has SO much to offer you, but you will never understand or experience the full extent of what it has to offer unless you step out and get involved. During the first weeks of school, all Freshman are new and trying to meet and make new friends, so uilize the fact that everyone is in the same boat as you and really try to make new friends because after the first month or so, friendships and groups are going to be established. Take only what you think you will actually wear with you to college. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! Cramming does not work in college. Freshman year really does go by fast; therefore, enjoy the time you have and cherish the memories and friends you make.

Favorite Place on Campus:

It is a three-way tie between the perch-thingy right outside of Carpenter, under the flagpole on the Drill Field or the window seal in the Roadrunner office. I can’t decide!
