Advice for Freshmen:

"It isn't weird to introduce yourself to people. That sounds foolish, but I know that I used to be hesitant to introduce myself to people because I thought that they would think that's weird or awkward or something. Which is never the case. Ever. There has never been a single time when someone has introduced himself/herself to me and I thought "why did they do that, that was so weird." College is such an incredible opportunity to meet so many people from all over, so definitely take advantage of it."

How has New Maroon Camp impacted you? :

"It made me realize the importance of getting out and meeting people"

Favorite Song/Artist:

" It's pretty tough for me to narrow it down to one song, artist, or even genre. So I'll just list a few of my favorites all around. In terms of hip hop, I've recently been listening to this guy named Healy. He's a rapper from Memphis. Also, I really like Bon Iver. I honestly have no idea what genre to throw them in. I guess Indie or something. I honestly have no idea, and I think that's why I like them so much. I recently stumbled upon a band called Pinegrove. They're kinda an Indie Rock type band and they're really different and super cool. Ok one more that I can't leave out: Frank Ocean. Huge fan. He's different and makes weird stuff and is creative and I absolutely love his stuff. I could keep going but I'll end there for now."

Favorite Color:

"Depends. If it's something I'm wearing, I'd say white. If we're talking rainbow, I'd say blue."

Favorite Food:

Goldfish

Favorite Starkville Restaurant:

Stromboli's

Favorite MSU Memory:

"We had a concert at my brother's house. Jordy Searcy and my brother performed. It was super cool because way more people showed up than I expected."

Favorite MSU Tradition:

"I don't know if you would consider Bulldog Bash a tradition or not, but I guess since it happens every year, it is. So if so, then that."
