To me, New Maroon Camp means home. It is the organization that gave me a family and a place on campus. I knew no one coming into college, and now, because of the people NMC has given me, I confidently call Mississippi State my home. It has been so inspiring to watch the way NMC can change the lives of campers and staffers alike. NMC was one of the first places I felt seen, loved, and cared for at State. It has played such a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today. NMC truly means everything to me and is an organization I take so much joy in having the opportunity to serve. I feel honored to be in this position and am so excited to see what this next year holds.
