To me, New Maroon Camp represents community, growth, and the chance to create a welcoming space for others. It's an initiative that is so much bigger than the individuals involved in it. My involvement in the organization means a lot, but to play even a small part in giving other people the same sense of belonging and excitement that NMC has given me means even more.
