New Maroon Camp meant finding my place on campus. Through camp I’ve made some of my closest friends. Any anxiety I had about going to college was remedied by New Maroon Camp before classes ever began. Once classes began, I was able to feel comfortable and confident on campus. I had familiar faces I could say hi to as I walked to class, I knew my way around campus, and I picked up a million other practical tips that my counselor taught me.
