New Maroon Camp is more than just a welcome week at Mississippi State. It feels like the moment everything starts to click: it’s where you meet people who instantly feel like friends, where the nerves of starting college get replaced with excitement, and where you realize you’re part of something bigger than yourself. To me, New Maroon Camp represents a fresh start, a supportive community, and the realization that MsState can truly become my home away from home.
