If I had to describe what New Maroon Camp meant in one word it would be "transition". Coming into MSU I felt so alone because of how far I was from home, but the staff my year made me feel so loved and seen. These small acts of acknowledgment gave me the confidence to really put myself out there because truly we all are family here. So, without NMC my transition into college could have taken a complete 180 from where it is now, and I am ever so thankful for what NMC has done for me.
