New Maroon Camp represents a true beginning, a moment where Mississippi State stops feeling like an unfamiliar place and starts becoming home. To me, it means stepping into a community that welcomes you exactly as you are, but also challenges you to grow. It’s a space where strangers quickly become friends, where traditions start to make sense, and where you realize you’re part of something bigger than yourself.
