Advice for Freshmen:

You have to get out of your comfort zone! You never know who you will meet, and don’t be afraid to try something new. Be sure to take off that "cool cap." Be open to opportunities, and make the most of every moment, because college doesn’t last forever. The relationships and memories will.

How has New Maroon Camp impacted you? :

I was a camper, but joining NMC as a sophomore and being able to serve as a position on the 2021 Executive Team has been the biggest blessing of my sophomore year so far. I have met so many people this year that I would likely have never met if it wasn’t for NMC. I have gained so many genuine friendships and memories and will forever be grateful for my New Maroon Camp family.

Favorite Starkville Restaurant:

The Grill. I would eat their cheese sticks daily if I could.
