How has New Maroon Camp impacted you? :

New Maroon Camp took me in as a nervous out of state student and showed me the love, encouragement, and inclusivity that this campus has to offer! I found a family in NMC that I never could have imagined and now, can’t imagine living without. I am forever impacted from “taking off my cool cap” at camp as a freshman, and it hasn’t gone back on since!!

Favorite Food:

A $5 Little Caesar’s large pepperoni pizza

Favorite Starkville Restaurant:

Perry Cafeteria

Favorite thing about Mississippi State:

The people at MSU have got to be my favorite thing. It is rare for me to walk on campus and not be greeted with a smile and a wave by a friend. There’s this overall “homey” feel on campus because everyone really leans into the fact that we are all a bulldog family and people are always seeking out new friendships. Even the professors and staff go out of their way to help you when you need it which has been so helpful and encouraging when the going gets tough!

Favorite MSU Tradition:

Singing the Alma Mater at the end of football games! Fun fact, I have stayed to sing it in the stands at every home football game since freshman year!
