GET INVOLVED!! This will help you meet so many different people, and it willl give you something to do outside of your classes. There is a club or organization on campus for everyone, so be sure to put yourself out there and something is bound to stick.
New Maroon Camp gave me a place where I felt like I truly belonged and is the reason why I fell in love with Mississippi State. NMC also taught me so much about MSU and gave me a greater appreciation for this university. NMC made me want to give back to MSU in whatever way I could. Without NMC, I also wouldn’t have met my best friends who have made my college experience something I’ll treasure forever.
