What does New Maroon Camp mean to you?:

"To me, NMC best represents the words “family” and “home”. As a camper, it is your first true introduction to life as an independent student here at MSU; an incredible opportunity to witness the diversity and richness of the student population; a once in a lifetime chance to meet friends and make connections for life. As a counselor, NMC is the most rewarding way to serve and give back to the university that has given you so much. Having the opportunity to impact so many incoming students and be one of the first faces they encounter is an incredible experience. Whether or not we, as a team, win at the end of the week ultimately doesn’t matter as the most important thing that every incoming student is able to realize— as I’ve been able to witness first-hand— is that the true meaning of camp isn’t the games and competition, but it is the fact that by the end of the week, they are equipped— with friends, skills, knowledge, and so much more— to successfully begin their college career at MSU and understand what it truly means to be a Bulldog."
