Advice for Freshmen:

Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things. Talk to people you don't know--you'll be surprised at the awesome new friends you make. Also, make sure you get to know your professors early on. They can be super helpful not only in the classroom but also for writing letters of recommendation in the future and letting you know about cool opportunities.

Favorite MSU Memory:

A favorite MSU memory is when the MSU women's basketball team won the UConn game my Freshman year. There was such a contagious feeling of excitement all over campus. People went crazy! It was probably 10 or 11 at night, but that didn't matter. Students grabbed their cowbells and ran around campus screaming and ringing their bells as loud as they could! It was awesome that we could all celebrate together and support our girls even from far away. Winning the UConn game was so awesome it didn't get matter later when we lost the championship game--beating UConn was the bigger win in my book! :)

Favorite MSU Tradition:

Singing "Don't Stop Believing" before the 4th quarter at football games.
