What does New Maroon Camp mean to you?:
"To me, NMC means giving the campers an experience to where after camp is over, they can say, “I think I’ve really found my home here at MSU.” I want them to be able to see that this a place that welcomes vulnerability, and it is not a place of judgement, fear, or shame. I want to be able to give that experience of adaptive vulnerability to my campers the same way that my counselor was able to do for me. MSU is a home, and we just have to help the campers see that."
