It's cliché, but BE YOURSELF (even if you didn't feel like you could in high school) because trust me, you will have an amazing 4 years if you can live in the FREEDOM of simply being yourself! ...... Also, have some fun! Get out of your room and put yourself out there! It may be uncomfortable at first, but trust me, you will be so glad that you did! ...... Also, apply for organizations/clubs! You can meet like-minded people and can meet some of your best friends (they are quite literally how I have met all of my friends)
New Maroon Camp has impacted me in ways that I will take with me for the rest of my life. I have met all of my best friends through NMC and my absolute favorite memories have been at or because of NMC. It is truly a place of love, acceptance, and the best representation of what MSU stands for. It is where I feel most at home and my very favorite thing about Mississippi State.
Dinner on a night in December (cold weather) and go see Christmas lights after!
